I love good music. Not the modern-day vulgar stuff ... those mad drum-beating, ear-bursting numbers. I love songs that have universal appeal with singers singing in clear voice accompanied by soft & sweet background music.
Same about English songs. I dislike Pop songs. Rather I would listen to country music by Dolly Parton. Or love songs by Celine Dion.

Song making is so easy now. With the help of ready-made soundtracks even a 15-year-old is churning out "hit" items daily basis from the comfort of his home. Making fast bucks.
When a Hindi song is sung using half-English and half-Hindi language backed by western music ( no tabla, dhol, dholak, shahnai ), what you call or how you categorize that song ?
