mela or village fair is an occasion fun and joy. A scene at a Baishakhi mela
in Golaghati bazar ( Bishalgarh ), West Tripura.  Every year on 5th day of Baishakha
( first month of Hindu calendar year ) this mela is held here.  People from adjoining
areas like Baidyardighi, Sepahijala, Takarjala, Gopinagar, Jampuijala and Bishalgarh
come to take part in merry making and fan fare.

the Golaghati bazar as a vagabond.  Judging from his dress ( like sunglasses
in the evening and a trishul ( trident ) on his shoulder) I think  they are correct.
I encountered this funny man in the Baishakhi mela in Golaghati bazaar.
