The Wall of Indian cricket team's batting order, Rahul Dravid, has announced his retirement from International cricket. He was a stylish middle order batsman. Technically very sound, this batsman was very hard to be dismissed. His defence was almost unbreakable. His gentle behaviour on and off the field also contributed to his popularity. Slowly but steadily he would construct his innings. No fire works. That made him the most ideal Test batsman for any budding batsman to emulate. He was so dependable in times of tricky situations of a match. His wicket was most valuable for the opposition team. He was rightly called the Wall of Indian batting line-up.

His services will be badly missed by Team India in times of adversity. Will be very hard to find his replacement in near future.
