Bindu Zaveri ~ Bollywood's Vamp # 1

Born: January 17, 1951

Most famous vamp in the history of Bollywood cinema.  In the '70s, '80s and early '90s, people flocked to Indian cinema halls mainly to see vamp roles played by Bindu, and not the leading heroines of that time !  Such was her stardom despite playing  negative roles.

Bindu was beautiful, busty and fair-skinned ~ a dream actress for any film director for box office success. It is very unfortunate that she did not act in heroine's roles.  It is suprising ,and annoying too,  when you find the vamp more sexy and beautiful than the film's heroine.  This always happened in almost all Bindu-starrer Hindi movies. 

Of late, she has turned acting in comical  and quarrelsome mother-in-law's roles.  In her 60s now, she is still radiantly beautiful and graceful.
